335d GT features
slightly dissapointed with 2015 335d GT Msport XDrive 313bhp features its yellow ring lights and mirrors do not fold in having came from E350 cdi.
I saw on forums I thought I could replace yellow lights with the white LEDs but involved taking off wheel/arches. Is this correct? So I went to BMW dealer but they didnt seem bothered and said it may blow the lights and in worse case blow the ECU. I am guessing its because its not worth their time. Not a big deal but I have to park on street and many Mirrors knocked off so wanted to have folding mirrors. I tried holding BMW logo on key fob and total closure activated indeed but mirrors didnt fold in. After much anticipation without knowing if I had electric folding mirrors I plucked up the courage to push my mirrors in without damaging any electrics. It pushed in manually which I did not want. Whilst at BMW , dealer showed me if I had folding mirrors theres an extra button on driver door to fold in which I do not have but they can be electrically adjusted. It seems these are very expensive to get retro fitted? providing I have electric seats too I would have thought 335d GT Msport XDrive 313bhp would come with these features as standard Last edited by cv65user; 02-18-2017 at 06:59 AM.. |

I have folding mirrors and I don't have an extra button on the remote. They fold if I hold the BMW logo down when locking the car.
You can check yourself if your car has option 430 (enter the last 7 symbols of your VIN here: www.bimmer.work) |
