Another tire size question...

Hey everyone,
I'm curious how tall one could go with tires? For all intents and purposes I am keeping my cars suspension and wheels stock but would like to increase tire size to 45 if nothing rubs. Thanks in advance

Interested in why you'd want to do this. The extra sidewall is going to ruin handling, surely?

Comfort, steering response, comfort, I like the look, and, comfort. Los Angeles roads are terrible. 45 is still in the realm of performance tires. I'll likely end up trying to fit 265/40-19 and 285/40-19. We'll see what happens

265/40/19 will definitely rub when you turn on the fender liner up front near the front duct. I can't even get a 265/35 to fit without rubbing in that same spot.
