Hi guys, tired of my oem rims bending in the NY/NJ area with these potholes and terrible roads of bumps and vibration. I want to consider getting tires which are thicker in diameter ?. Which would absorb the potholes better and I'll try to slow down aswell I guess. Any recommendations or thoughts on this ??? Want to do this by mid next month tops.
Btw stock tires 225/45/18 contissr Thanks ? |

You're best off going down to a 17" wheel assuming there's something that will clear your brakes and get beefier tires either DWS06 or A3 jump to mind. Did that on my M235 for the exact reasons you are describing.

im running a 235/45/18 on an 8.5 rim and its slightly taller than stock and doesnt give me the stretched look my stock contis do.
getting rid of RFT helps as well.
