Yeah get heaps of small stones in there, i used to try and get them out everytime i washed the car but lately it's now after every few washes. I use a hand held blower to dry the car and that tends to remove the majority of them.

Found this out the 1st day I drove the car home, our ( long ) drive has a different mixture of stone / road plannings on it.
I've noted it occurs when the tyres are up to a good temp and as I slowly drive along they flick the bits up into the voids. Bit of a bind, I now put a small foam packer into them before I venture home & i remove them before pulling out onto the road.. |
