Reporting RTTI Error

Hi All

Does anybody know of a way to report an issue with the RTTI traffic feed in iDrive. Basically on my main commuting route a roundabout is spuriously marked as closed, when in fact it’s not and traffic is flowing freely.

This means that for the past two weeks iDrive won’t calculate my correct route into work and is constantly advising alternative routes. This is very frustrating as the route is extremely high risk for traffic at the best of times and I now no longer get delay times as the navigation spends its time trying to get me to detour and reports traffic on that route

Once I pass through the ‘closed’ roundabout everything is fine again. Of course I tried calling BMW CS but I may as well not bothered!!

Would love to know the same too actually. Many a time have I found it reporting incorrect data.

I managed to find somebody on the Connected Drive support line to listen yesterday. They've opened a ticket and sent it to a support team in Germany. Was a very clunky process but it seems like progress

What a shame there isn't the option to mark it as inaccurate in iDrive and then if enough people do the same it triggers a review...

I wonder who is responsible for aggregating all the feeds to inform RTTI

I now have to pay for RTTI - or will do in 6 day's time. (My new-car subscription appeared to be for 3 yrs, 3 months and 2 days???)

TBH not planning on doing it 'cos it's of minimal use and boy-who-cried-wolf reliability. There have been occasions when it's helped, but frankly I don't think I'll miss it.

if I had to report every RTTI error, I'd never get anything done, it's truly awful.

Same here, but I did renew- £40 for 12 months isn't worth worrying about given how much we do use the car and given how frustrating the few days were when the system was down recently.

Didn't bother with the connected drive or concierge extension though.
