M240i MPE with M performance diffuser fitment question

Afternoon all,

Could those with MPE and M Performance rear diffuser fitted to there M240i please let me know if pipe extenders are required to get the tips out to the correct distance? I presumed that the extenders would be if you had the M performance diffuser but kept the standard rear box.
Any help appreciated As i dont want extenders if they are not required.
Regards

To my knowledge extenders are only for if you have the stock exhaust. The MPE sticks out farther than the stock exhaust

MPE w/ MP diffuser, not great pics but extenders are not needed IMO.

Hi, Yaymitch. Is that the standard M Performance rear diffuser, unpainted? I've ordered a 2018 M240i in Mineral Gray and was planning to get the diffuser painted the same color, but it actually looks great as is.

My car has the MPE and MP diffuser. No extenders, and looks great.

Yes, it is the standard ?unpainted? MP diffuser. I agree it looks good as is. No need to paint it.

I had the MPE and diffuser fitted, the dealer left the exhaust tips almost hidden under the diffuser, very disappointing. I adjusted the tips myself, each one has a small torx head adjuster on the underside.
Done 2000 miles now, sounds great
