My 4GC has had rattles since it was delivered. I initially thought it was the rear seat and used tape in the locking mechanism. It seemed to solve it but the rattling is back with vengeance and is doing my head in. I now think it's the parcel shelf or associated side supports.
Anyone else had the same and a way to help solve it?

I am glad I am not alone! I haven't found where it's coming from yet either though which isn't much help to either of us.

Mine does it too. I initially put it down to a careless relative slamming the door too hard, as that's when it started, but I think it's the shelf. Very intermittent, but there are certain roads where it's guaranteed to do it.
I'm sure it didn't rattle when I had the shelf out for a while, but I didn't use those roads, so need to repeat the experiment...

I took out the shelf before I left for home today. No rattles. Just need to find out what to do to stop it! Loose connection maybe?

Strange isn't it. Maybe loose in their mountings.
