Tire Rack has a M2 Star Spec Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 up...M2 CS tires?

Check this out:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...2&autoModClar=

OEM M2 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. These have definitely not been delivered on any M2 to date. They are listed as backordered (make sense since they are not out yet) which means these are almost certainly for a M2 CS or GTS variant.

These are the same tires used on the M4 GTS.

...which would mean the tyre sizes would remain the same going by this article.I'm not convinced the CS will have the same sizes just yet.

I certainly wouldn't want these as standard fitment, having them as an option would make better sense in wetter climes.

They have been in RealOEM etc for over a year as a stock alternative for the basic M2.

The Cayman GT4 was delivered with 20" Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires + an express warning by Porsche for use in humid weather ("Please bear in mind, however, that the reduced tread depth does mean an increased risk of aquaplaning on wet surfaces.": http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...6#post17389636).

Yep,

A pirouetting CS could be a common site on these wet European shores

I had a tire replaced at the VPC with a sport cup 2 by mistake. BMW has these in inventory for some reason.

They already supply these tires as a complete package with the m performance wheels. No need to get too excited. They were shown on the M2 at the N.Y. auto show in April.

I had these installed pre-delivery with the objective of getting a set of dual duty tires for street/track. Although grip was good, and certainly better than the stock MPSS, I was not overwhelmed with enthusiasm. Went through two sets of fronts, one set pre-camber plates and one set post. Even with 2.7 degrees of camber, I couldn't get more than a handful of days out of them before they corded. Next season I will bight the bullet and go with a dedicated set of 18" wheels fitted with some NT01s.

OE 19" 763m alloys upgrade for current M2 comes with MPSC2's which I assume are starred....so

Whether or not these are standard fitment on M2 CS remains to be seen. I believe M3 & M4 CS owners wanting to drive all year round in mixed road/climate conditions can opt for MPSS instead of 'dry climate' MPSC2.

NT01s in what size?
The biggest square size I can fit. Likely a 275.
