Sinus or Bluetooth speaker

I know Sonus has been discussed before but I want some advice. Wife wants a Bluetooth type speaker for kitchen to play music from Amazon and YouTube mostly. She isn't after anything too special but half decent sound would be good so I'm thinking of going better than a cheapo Bluetooth or docking station.

Is a Play 1 the best option or any other suggestions. Assume with Sonus she can easily play music from her phone connection accessing Amazon or YouTube playlists.

Then should a play 3 be considered if really pushing the budget. Would like a 5 sometime for the lounge maybe.

Also one other point, she also talked about having this speaker to take upstairs when she is cleaning, not sure that works well does it with one Sonus unit downstairs. Are they easily moved or is that just extra hassle

Sonos is good , I have play 1 in the kitchen and for casual listening it's great. But I don't think you can play from you tube

I have a bose SoundTouch 30 it's excellent, I use it via an echo dot, and it will play from a phone or iPad via Bluetooth so can play from YouTube, there are smaller versions which would be easier to carry.

I looked at sonos but functionality was an issue for me.

Reading about the Bose Soundtouch 10 and sounds maybe a better option as it has Bluetooth and also some preset radio stations

How does the echo dot integration work.

Bluetooth or aux, then just use it like an amazon echo, it just plays through Bose.

Have you considered Bang & Olufson? I listened to a Beoplay A1 the other day in Costco (£129 - normal retail £199). It's tiny & the quality & power is truly remarkable! I couldn't believe my ears with the sound from such a compact device. They do bigger ones as well up to about £500, but for portable use in the house & garden the A1 is fantastic. It's rated at 2x140w. Absolutely well worth a listen to before committing to another alternative.
