What's the fastest you've driven and in what?

2 stand out for me one was in my Honda S2000 maxed out at an indicated 153mph, and the other in my Z4M at an indicated 163mph (so much for the limiter

) with the roof down

Both on european road trips in Germany.

This is what I was thinking about the limiter in my Z4M it literally sailed past it and I've no doubt with the roof up I'd have seen 170 something.

At these speeds you do cover ground very quickly, 167 is proper fast!

167mph in an M6 and 183mph in a Brabus C63 both indicated speeds I was a passenger in the C63 and it was at night in the Autobahn

I asked DMS to remove mine when they remapped it. I'm not actually sure they did though... I've had that speed a couple of times and couldn't get past it. Can't be sure it was being limited, but I thought it would have a little bit more.

Hmmm... maybe 167 indicated is actually really 155 and hence that's what shows when you're hitting the limiter?

No it was still pulling it was me that slowed, it had been mapped.

168mph or there abouts when i looked down briefly.
Was a beast of a little car mind. 370bhp 400ft/lb and about 1300kg or there about.
Shockingly felt more stable at that speed than my 335d does at what seems to be the limiter at 158mph on the speedo.

180 indicated speed in the Lotus Carlton. Even coming off the throttle was tense, as when the engine went off-boost it was really noticeable.

Totally agree, would love to go in a Tesla with ludicrous mode, 0-60 in less than 3 secs....... Must be amazing

^ Chaps, me too. Went out in a Nissan GTR with a lad from work a few years ago and the thing was flying around country lanes...when I think about it now it was bloody dangerous. It was fantastically quick.
