My little boy should be here soon

My wife was due with our little boy on the 30th march but after having growth scans and meetings with Drs this week
We are been told that he hasn't grown in the last 2 week and they want to get him out rather than leave him the full term. So Friday morning my wife gets induced so hopefully if everything goes to plan he will be here by the weekend

Hope all goes well for you pal. We were due on the 28th March but having had a c section first time and for various reasons were having a c section again so we're booked in on the 21st so not long for us now.

Good luck to you and your wife M40CCA, I hope all goes well on Friday. Good that the NHS spotted things weren't going right. We're off to the mid-wife today for the 33/34 week appointment.

Good luck stefan4 too, not long to go now...

Good luck - our health service is the best in the world - so you are in good hands!

It is human nature to worry - you can look forward to holding your baby on his / her birthday!

Congrats to you both (and of course respective wives).

Childbirth is amazing (not so much for the woman).

Must admit pleased we stopped at one, having one girl was enough for my stress levels lol.

Good luck for both

Good look guys. It's a day to remember. I'd have more kids just for that feeling. We were so convinced we were having another girl, we didn't have a boys name when he came out ( nearly came out in my car on the way to the hospital). Keep us posted.

Good luck MashinBenzin , M40CCA & stefan4 with your impending little ones

My lad is 21 months old today. I've definitely aged more than the 21 months since he was born, but the little dude is my best mate and makes me laugh every single day. Love him to bits.

Good luck! My wife was induced a couple of weeks early 10 days ago now. Perfectly healthy little boy so far! I'd forgotten how full on the first few weeks are, no time to yourself. Luckily I have the dad gene where I can sleep through anything, wife busy and shattered, me just busy with occasional earache!

In fact we have the worst rate of late diagnosis of cancer in Europe causing thousands of needless deaths per year.

My youngest was 4 weeks early - 23 now, 2 degrees and training for a professional qualification and still draining my wallet.....

Good luck M40CCA - I do think having more kids as an excuse to change the car is a bit excessive though

Good luck dude

Remember to try the gas and air - it's good stuff.

For what it's worth we had the same issue with Fat Kid 1 evicted 2 weeks early weighing just over 5lbs. Certainly put a bit of size on since then.

Just my personal view.

But I bow to the league tables you refer to.

Best of luck.

I was actually typing out my experience of the wife having our 2 boys but thought better of it.

So I'll give the advice I always give, which is genuinely the best advice you'll ever get.

Take your phone charger because the labour thing can potentially last for a day and a half.

I know my other 3 children were all born naturally (on their own doing) and the longest labour out of them was a hour
But I have heard when induced they can take their time to come out as they were not really ready yet
