e9x 335xi vs 335i 1/4 mile

Am I correct to assume that faster 60ft can be achieved in 335xi auto tranny vs 335i 6MT? I've seen a 425hp 335xi Auto get 60ft in 1.7sec - which is indicative of high 11s no? Also on the slip it said 0-60mph in 3.9sec - which is faster than stock 2016 M5 (4.0sec)
I guess first 1/8 miles AWD and Auto tranny has advantage, but last 1/8 it slows down compared to RWD 6MT correct?

In optimal conditions with great tires, yes. That's about the limit on the XI's as well. The MT-RWD can be modified A LOT more.
