What do you do of an evening?
This time of year I seem to get myself stuck in a rut with it being dark and cold.
I just tend to sit around on the iPad watching car stuff and bullfights on YouTube etc, maybe have a drink, sometimes a film but it's all just the kind of same old same old every night. I'm getting a bit bored really, what do you guys do? |

Commute, say hello to grandson, eat (no prep - joys of having daughter living with you and her being on mat leave!), clear kitchen (always a catch....), walk the dogs, check emails, plan next day, couple of phone calls, bed....
Walking dogs takes about 50 mins - makes me get some exercise and gives me time to think.... |

Talk to the wife, shout at the kids, feed the cat, manage my multi-million pound portfolio of exotic financial instruments. Just the usual stuff, you know?
Nah, not really. I just masturbate furiously.

Up until around ten months ago I would smoke a 20 bag of herbal tobacco every evening.
Now I end up in bed after Eastenders surfing the net. Man I feel old. |

Now I'm a civvie, I don't have to take work home to meet absurd deadlines just for the sake of it!
Winter months; spend a bit of time in the kitchen cooking (I like it) and doing art work (side line) and a bit of scale modelling. Summer; getting out and about as much as possible in the local countryside and looking forward to better weather to pamper the car! |

Now I'll only have a smoke when the Mrs takes the kids to stay at her mums during half term. As much as I miss it, it's better this way. I'm healthier and wealthier for it, and when I do have a blaze now it actually gets me fukked instead of just making me feel normal. According to my staff I'm now also a much calmer and nicer person that does not have mood swings worse than a 14 year old anymore! I do find I'm smoking a ridiculous amount of cigarettes since I've given up though. I've even changed my brand to Benson Dual now (the ones that turn into menthols when you click the capsule in the butt) just for some flavour when I smoke to compensate for not puffing on blunts anymore. |

This evening I was home from work about 5:15, and, for the first time this year it was light enough for me to go for a run without having to drive to town for the streetlights (we live in the countryside, nearest village 5 miles away.
So I went out and ran 5 miles. |
