Yet another shit thread

Why do dog owners pick up their pet's pooh and then leave the bag lying around or hanging on a branch?

Do they genuinely intend to collect it later and just forget, or is it some kind of dirty protest against not being allowed to foul the path?

I assume this allows them to appear to be doing the right thing - avoiding confrontation or prosecution, but they have no intention of returning to collect it. A little like those who hit your car in a public car park and leave a note on the windscreen with a phone number that's almost right...

Random reply to this thread, as I see the handbags thread has been locked. Interesting!

Yeah, could be that I suppose. TBH I'd prefer it if they just did it at the side of the path so it eventually washes away. Eventually the whole countryside's gonna be covered in non-biodegradable bags of dog shit.

Even as a dog owner this absolutely pisses me off. Sometimes I will bag my dogs mess up , leave it on the verge but collect it on the way back. I'd never just chuck it in a tree.

I'd pick them off and post them into local letterboxes.

Really pisses me off that when people hang them off tress, bushes, fences etc, I mean why the fuck?

Then around here we have people put grass over the top of it...

It's like a mine field at times, fucking guess hides it and you step on it. Twats.

This!! TBH I just carry the bag if Lola is caught short, I don't mind carrying it for an hour or until I see a bin.

on a similar topic.....having now got all round CCTV when working at home i have the feed from the cameras running through the iMac sat next to my work setup. there's a lane that goes in front of the house so I like to keep an eye on things as my other half orders about 100 things a week on amazon.

many dog walkers use this lane and the amount that let their dogs off the leads and freely roam in the driveways, across the gardens is something i had no idea about till the cameras went up.

Part of me wishes i did not install them as this really boils my piss now....one woman last week let her dog have a good wander round the cars on our drive and then take a piss against the wheel of the X5...needless to say I restrained myself before i flew out the door to confront her. to be fair she apologized but i think she was more surprised i "knew" what had just happened. she clearly didn't think anything "wrong" letting her dog have a good sniff around the drive, garden etc etc whilst she waited at the bottom of the drive.

maybe i'm being a "nob" but other dog owners......enlighten me....is this normal for dog walkers to just let dogs run anywhere???

EDIT: looking back I wish i'd thought quicker on my feet and told her the cameras record 24x7 for a month and if i catch her dog doing it again i'll follow them both home and take a massive dump on her lawn see how she likes it (oh and of course after that i'll bag it up and hang it from a tree on her lawn)

Well

I agree with dog shit crimes being kettles to piss temperature.

What I don't get is how just because I live in the country, horse owners let their beasts do MAHOOSIVE shits in the road outside my house and no one gives a fuck.

As a city born country dweller - is this normal?

It stays there for ages.

Surely the 2 would seemingly go together not juxtaposed?

Never in a million years would I let my dog wonder onto anyone's property.Sadly there is a number of thick fukwit dog owners out there.

I caught a lady on my CCTV walking her dog when it had diarrhoea outside of my house, she just walked off, she then returned about 5 minutes later in her car got out with a fully boiled kettle and poured it over the mess.

Dogs are disgusting some people aren't.

I don't live in the country, but have experienced the same horse droppings lol outside our property.F**kers should be made to carry spade and bags to clear it up.On the upside makes me chuckle when they ride past my house and the dog is outside and barks at them, should see the look on there self righteous pompous faces lol

I'm with the shite-haters above, after three recent incidents -

Me and the Mrs walking in the woods at a local beauty spot and she noticed I was dragging leaves under the soles of my boots. They were caked in dog keech and the leaves had stuck to that. Had to endure the waft of shit from the boot of the car until I could home to hose them off properly.

Washing the car in the street last week and noticed a lovely big pile of dog crap next to my gate post, which I had to spend time to wash away.

Next time I was washing the car a couple of local lads asked to borrow my hose to wash down their BMX bikes because they had driven through some dog shit.
After I slagged them off for having no mudguards, I let them use the hose.

Far too many careless/thoughtless/selfish dog owners around.

*Rant mode off*

I caught a woman just walking off after her dog did a big shit on the pavement infront of my drive access as i returned home from work. When she saw me stop and glare at her whilst indicating to come on my drive she turned around and picked it up! Ffs she had the bags so why not pick it up to start with! Last thing i need is to run it over and spread it up the drive
