Recommendations for GAP, tyre and alloy insurance

Just ordered a new Land Rover Discovery for the Mrs and looking to take out replacement Gap, Alloy and possibly Tyre insurance, who do you recommend in terms of best price and service?

Used Car2Cover on my F30, but heard there are better options...?

Thanks

Hi mate

Bought the Discovery Sport, the new Discovery is stunning but way too big and expensive....

Always wanted a LR/SUV myself and then the Mrs said she didn't want another car, so bingo we ordered a new one yesterday, result.

Best of both worlds with my F30.

Looked at Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, but we both loved the Disco.

Getting delivered this month before the new 40k tax kicks in 1st of April, so it was a 17 model year (built in Feb) with the exact spec, colour.

Can't wait....

Yes, the Mrs brother works for JLR so we got one of his privilege discount vouchers.

The discount this quarter was better than ever as they have big targets to hit, so was a no brainier really....

I am close to sealing a potential deal for a used approved bmw, they offered a gap insurance £500 plus, surely that is way too much? or this normal for a bmw car?

I am seeing lower quotes from these sites some of you have shared, this pickles is covering for a third of that price.

Any advise please?

I went with Frank Pickles for Gap, Tyre and Wheel.

Came highly recommended from this forum, great service and price.

Let's put it like this, Land Rover wanted Gap for £500 and the same vehicle replacement insurance from FP was less than £200!

Says it all.

Thank you for your response, I might even consider wheel and tyre insurance. I dont use up tyres enough for it to be worth it.

+1 for Frank Pickles.

I also took the scratch and dent, but didn't bother with wheels and tyres.

Needless to say I kerbed an alloy after six weeks
