Issue with Tial BOV install

Hi everyone,

I'm installing a 50 mm Tial BOV on my car, but I may have encountered an issue test fitting the parts tonight. The vacuum hose adapter on the BOV does not seem to go into the BOV right. The screw turns smoothly 80% of the way, and then won't go any further into the BOV. I don't want to force it in for fear of stripping out the threads. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Thanks!

Pretty sure there's supposed to be washers above and below the connector.

Yes, if you look very closely, there is one above and one below the connector in the first pic. Not sure if there should be any more than that.

Make sure there are enough threads in the bov for the length of the bolt and also make sure the threads are not damaged in either the bolt or the bov.

Also is this a legit tial bov or did you get it from someplace like ebay. Ebay bov are almost always clones and you will find problems with them.

Thanks, I will check the threads. I purchased this from Burger Tuning, so I'm almost certain it is a legitimate Tial.
