MP Front Winglet Removal

Attempted to removal the MP front winglets and they proved to be more of a challenge that initially i thought, my question is if anyone else has removed theirs and how they were able to. Aside from the obvious screws and tape the issue comes with the pop rivets and how to get them out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why are you removing them? Pop rivets require you to drill a hole in the center the size of the shank not the head, it should then be easy to push through the hole

If they are installed correctly according to BMW instructions they are glued with Betalink 1K too which is a PITA to remove. There is a solvent supplied with the Betalink but the paint is often damaged. Don't know if your installer used Betalink and/or it will be visible anyway.

OT but wouldn't betalink be used for the factory spoiler? If yes, then when changing to the CF spoiler wouldn't the solvent damage the paint?

Factory is just double sided tape.

I thought it was just tape and not glued. I guess i'll have my body shop take a look at this because i don't want to break the winglets on removal.
