E92 H3 Cornering Light
I never thought of changing this, but since everyone else is, I might as well.
What brand bulb are you all using to change the cornering light? Is there a specific wattage it must be? How easy is it to change? Thanks! |

Wattage should not exceed 55w I believe. So make sure before buying because I've seen H3's rated anywhere from 55w to 100w. Example:

Does the cornering light ever come one? I've never seen it once come on in either my car or other E92 cars.
BTW, I changed mine out just because I had a spare set of H3 bulbs laying around so I figured why not since I didn't have to buy them. |

I hate the look of the angels with the fogs, too much mix. I want pure white angels with yellow fogs. Also I will replace the cornering H3's with Yellow because I think yellow lights up the lower road better then normal.

There's a few different ways i've noticed them... 1) While sitting in a turn lane with my signal on and another car in front of me....it depends on whats in front of you really, but large pickup trucks with the big chrome rear bumpers work best!! 2) When you put the car in reverse.... |

So how exactly do you swap the H3 bulb out? I know you lift the black cover up, but as to what to do next to get the H3 bulb out and replace it I have no idea. Do you turn it clockwise and lift or the opposite or is there something else you need to do?

Ok I bought an H3 color changing_rgb Led bulb
Yes I believe i need some resistor to avoid error codes. But my theory is drill small hole on cover, seal it of course. Run wires tight and in waterproof material tape. These technically what gives me demon eyes without baking headlights, correct?? Any suggestions on how to install please reply |

I run these, no issues. Pure white. Look much better then the stock brown halogen.
The cornering lights come on in reverse and slow cornering. Unless your paying attention for them they are usually missed in terms of how much light output/help they offer. I can say I did notice them more with the upgrade. |
