Final session with BMWCCA VIR Full April 2

Finally had a chance to come back to VIR after one full year. This time with the wife's M2.

Compared to my stock E92 M3 (6mt, pads, fluids and tires only) some thoughts:

At first I felt like the car is very floaty, maybe its soft sidewalls on the PSS tires; maybe its a combination of being a lighter car compared to the E92 M3. I eventually got comfortable with the car by the end of the first day.

DCT is nice, going auto in a session or two helped me focus on dialing back into the track and smooth out my lines. It really knows when to shift better than I do.

Much less under-steer compared to the E92; especially on Turn 4.

MDM mode appeared to be less intrusive or noticeable than than the E92; maybe I got smoother in my steering and throttle application since last year.

Going up the climbing-esses, I feel a little more stable, whereas my M3 would feel unstable if I hit the gators.

Braking were far more less dramatic and I felt like I could have dug in much deeper to brake.

I previously hit the same MPH on the back straight of 143 GPS speed on both the E92 and F87, so I feel like they are evenly match in that area.

I am by far no track junkie or a fast driver, but I felt pretty good at the end of the day, very happy with BMW CCA's event.
No major incidents besides a two cars with mechanical problems.

Anyways, if anyone wants to see a few laps, speedo is a little off, data was from exporting files from Harry's Lap Timer:
