Winter Tire Setup M240i XDrive
(I'm don't see a sticky post and my search for winter tires on this group wasn't very useful)
Folks - I'm downsizing to an 2017 M240i xDrive and I I'm already thinking winter wheel and tire setup. I have an old set of 17" rims from TireRack, square setup - they fit my old 2007 E90 335i - so had sufficient clearance for the brakes. They then did duty on my 2013 F30 328i xDrive. Will they fit the new baby? What's the tire size that's needed? TIA,

This is what BMW was selling as "official" snow tire/wheel package this winter for the 240. (see attached pdf)
May not completely answer your question but it's a start... BTW, going from a non-M (or "M-lite") 3 series to an M240 is only "downsizing" in physical size. Not in performance. And definitely not in fun!

Thanks winter.zed - found the sticky in the general forum. Looking at a 17" vs 18" setup now - 40 profiles for winter seem a bit low, but need 17s to clear the M calipers. Any loca Ottawa members recommend a local outfitter, or is Tire Rack still the way to go?
