LED Front Foglight Bulbs

I've searched the forum but can't find a link to bright white LEDs for my front fogs (F31) to match the colour of the angel eyes and xenons.

Can anyone recommend, from personal experience, a decent white LED with OEM connectors ? I've already coded-out the low voltage error reading using Carly (ideal for coding novices like me).

Thanks.

My fogs are LEDs and match my angel eyes. Maybe try searching for LED fogs for the 340i and see if you can install them on your car.

I fitted these;

6000k to match aftermarket Xenons & LED main beam, ignore the Canbus BS, you'll still need the coding.

Fitted them this evening - good bright white light, no blue tint; matches the xenons very well.

These would be a great upgrade for my F34 but before I order them, could you please explain why would they need coding?

LEDs draw a much lower current than a filament bulb, which the car interprets as a blown bulb.

As Watsey said

The fact these versions are CANBUS means they use a bit of electronics to fool the vehicle checking for a blown bulb. However the check is enough to momentarily light the LEDs, where it wouldn't a filament bulb, so you end up with flickering foglights if you don't code the checking out.

Not really an issue if you have them on all the time, but looks a bit special driving round with flickering fog lights (or with them on all the time actually).

PC + Cable + e-sys + psdzdata lite and the following FDL codes:-

LED Foglights front right
3061 NSW_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG - nicht_aktiv
3061 NSW_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG - nicht_aktiv
3061 NSW_R_IS_LED - aktiv

LED Foglights front left
3061 NSW_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG - nicht_aktiv
3061 NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG - nicht_aktiv
3061 NSW_L_IS_LED - aktiv

There's all the info you need in the coding forum.

Alternatively, I suspect the Carly app can probably do it, but I have no experience of that.

I have just ordered the Vgate iCar OBD adapter and bought BimmerCode.

Will this be able to do the necessary coding?

The app has some ready to go lists of features you can enable and disable on your car. If it's not on the list enter expert mode to manually code.

Here are some examples and a cheat sheet:
