Oregon Raceway Park

Just signed up for May 6th HPDE with HOD. I've never driven ORP but have been watching some videos trying to familiarize myself. Anybody here driven ORP and have advice? I'm looking forward to it but it sounds and looks like it is fairly technical. Thanks

That looks like a nice course. I'm looking to finally make some track time this year. Wish I would have known about this sooner. I wonder if people can just come out and watch...

It's not too late to sign up! I'm sure there are openings still. I'm excited to drive this track but it looks pretty technical.

Unfortunately I'm in Seattle and I happen to start a new job that week. The track schedule would require me to take Friday off (or get up super early sat). Either way I see there are some hpde closer to me a couple weeks later so ill prob hit that up!

I've raced at ORP on two wheels many times so I am familiar with the track running both directions. It's very technical and has several elevation changes. Due to some of these changes, you really have to trust your knowledge of the track. You'll love the "bowl" as it's a very tight radius turn and the "drop" which will get you on the brakes very hard before you sweep right. Enjoy!
