I was thinking of getting a device actually. My daughters playroom looks over the drive so I have a good location. Does this require any subscription fee to view over wifi / on the app?

Thanks. In your experience will it work viewing the outside from inside. I.E. Will it work through a pane of glass? Cheers

Yep - this is how I have mine set up.
My dad also has one to keep an eye on the dogs in his garden which is placed on the shelf on the conservertory.

If you look at the amazon link in my first post you will see a review on the first page where the guy shows the picture when viewing throught a glass window.

Thanks for the answers and yes I've now seen that image on the review - looks exactly what I am after. I live in probably the safest road in the world but like the idea of something covering my driveway.
