Windshield Wiper Blade Replacement

Where do you get your replacement blades?

Wiper blades don't last very long in Florida and are critical during the summer so I replace mine a few times a year. I am looking for an alternative to the dealership but would like to keep them as close to OEM as possible. Any suggestions?

getBMWparts.com, Pelican Parts, and Bavarian Auto Sports to name just three sources all sell BMW parts usually cheaper than a dealer. Pelican and Bav Auto also sell OE replacement parts.
Tire Rack also has many OE wiper blades. I purchased some from them for my Ford.

They are covered by the maintenance program... you will get a set of free wipers per year at any dealer

Thanks all! I will definitely take advantage of the ones included in the free maintenance but will probably have to change them out in between services so the websites will be very helpful.

if you buy from FCP Euro, you can get a new set when ever you want for free.

Free lifetime replacement on all parts.

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...es-61612219147

48$ for the set with lifetime replacement, why buy someplace else?

WHAAAAAAAAATTTTTT?

they will replace any part for free????????

"Yes, it's real!
All products you buy from FCP Euro are guaranteed for life for your ownership of the vehicle. This lifetime replacement guarantee includes consumables and wear and tear items like brake pads, gaskets, rotors, filters, wiper blades, and even oil – YES, oil!

This covers every single part we sell for as long as you own your car. Return anything purchased from us at any time. No fine print, no restrictions, no time limit. Buy it once, use it, abuse it, wear it out, then send it back for a free replacement. Even the free replacement part is warrantied for life."

So you can buy a set of pads... abuse the heck out of it and ask them to send another one after the track season is over ???

I still can't believe it... nor how I never heard about it....

as long as its in the parts catalog, YES.

I've done it for brake pad sensors, and wiper blades.
I'm going to give the oil a try next.

Unfortunately no race pads or tires and no plans to carry them.

They also have a 235iR in the PWC TC class this year, with Anthony Magagnoli driving so I support them. Anthony is a rock star and well known in the BMW world for his CCA and Club Racing support.

oil? come on man, that a bit mendacious. Returning used oil for new is hardly supporting them.

It's an expensive way to recycle the oil -shipping costs- that's for sure! And unless you want to have your car to sit without oil (hide the remote) until the new oil arrives, you'll have to buy some oil anyway. Sounds like too much hassle one way or the other for "free" oil to me.

Not really... you can buy the oil and then ship it for a refund....

"If you need to return anything, just use our easy-to-follow online returns process. After that, you have two options:

Option 1 - Purchase a new part from us, which we'll ship it out immediately (same part number, same brand, same lifetime replacement guarantee), and we'll issue a refund once your old part is received.
Option 2 - Send the part back to us and we'll mail you a replacement (same part number, same brand, same lifetime replacement guarantee) as soon as we receive your old part."

You've already saved about half the cost of an oil change by doing it your self. If that isn't enough, jump through these hoops and go for it.

Ship the oil back so they can clean it a bit and send It back to you? Because I can't see how they can do what they claim. Charge $50 for shipping?

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Can someone verify this? I've had mine for 7 months and requested new ones, but I was told they weren't covered?

It was till 2016 model year I guess until they did the warranty terms change where disks and pads are not covered anymore.
