Paint Blending - Mtech Rear
I'm about to pull the trigger on an Mtech bumper... For those of you who have gotten aftermarket body parts, did you have the paint blended in to the other body panels? I'm a little hesitant to have a body shop paint the bumper and then slap it on the car in case the paint looks a little different... I'll be getting it painted at a certified BMW body shop btw. Please share your experiences!

I dropped off my car, but that was for the install too. Good shop should be able to match the color without blending it.

most people paint the part and slap it on ... some colors are harder to match than others ... space gray and alpine white have been the most difficult to match so far

+1 mine is getting done while its still getting repaired by BMW certified shop. Any respectable shop should be able to blend it nicely.

My Cars 2.5 years old, I know they didn't have to blend and the color is spot on. Here are some pics I took yesterday with the kit installed. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138181 To the OP, don't go too cheap with where ever you decide to go.

I have black sapphire, so maybe a little harder... Well, I'll get it done at the dealership, so they better do it right!
