@ Vorsteiner: can u fix the design for the diffuser? everyone is painting the sides to blend with the car coz the sides are ugly. can u just trim it down a little? it's a perfect diffuser otherwise....

instead of following the upper line to extend up maybe it should follow one of the lower lines instead

We would be happy to shed some light into the background and development of our VRS E92 M3 coupe carbon rear diffuser.

The VRS diffuser is designed so it can be installed partially painted or fully exposed carbon fiber at the discretion of the customer.

During Bimmerfest this year we did display a full exposed dry carbon fiber version in our Alpine White demo vehicle at Jlevi SW booth.

Our carbon fiber rear diffuser is installed using the original factory bumper bolts and double sided tape. This full width design allows the rear diffuser to be easily removed at a later date without damaging the paint or affecting the integrity & warranty of the rear bumper.

This is especially a concern for clients that lease the vehicles and must return the vehicles to the dealership in stock form.

A partial width design would not allow for this as it would require the use of a permenant epoxy glue and would be more prone to issues of open gaps and original fitment.

The full width swooping design is also a unique design characteristic of the E92 M3 generation model, which follows the original factory curves of the bumper as opposed to a straight line diffuser that is very reminescent of the older E46 M3 generation concept.

Our designer's intentions was to accentuate the existing lines of the car and not to force or create any new creases or contours that would disrupt the natural flow and design character of the E92 M3 Coupe.
