PNW (or so) Custom Tuner?

Hey guys. I am so done with dealing with my inconsistent and troublesome JB4. Is there anyone around here that does custom tunes? I am on the Oregon Coast, but would drive great distances to get a good tune done by someone that knows what they are doing and will provide good customer service.

Thanks, any help or advice would be appreciated!

I ditched JB4 for MHD. Ken writes the maps and he lives in Portland. Any reason why you havent considered MHD? Wealth of help on forums and troubleshooting too. I had a lot of problems with JB4, soon as I switched to MHD its been smooth sailing. Food for thought . I have a Cobb in my STI but from what I hear Cobb doesn't really so much with our platform anymore. MHDs price is unbeatable too.

Where are you on the coast? I go to Florence to Lincoln City quite a bit.

I'm in Newport.

I'm actually running an MHD BEF on my JB4. I would pull the JB4 and run with just the MHD flash, but I'm running meth and using the JB4 for the trigger mechanism. I may just bite the bullet and go with a standalone meth system, but I'm not sure how the MHD would deal with the meth, whether it would take advantage of it or not.

I had a COBB Acessport in my old WRX wagon and liked it a lot. The guy that did my dyno tune for that car is now at Surgeline in Portland that does all the COBB stuff, so I may swing by and see if he does custom tunes.....just not with COBB, I see the same thing about them not doing much with the 335. Although, if he can do a custom tune with it.......

Is Ken the guy behind MHD? I didn't know that originated in Portland.

Ah, never mind. Ken is Wedge, who is in Portland. MHD originated in Germany. Still, cool that Wedge is here. I will be emailing him about a tune via MHD.
