Stupid bug died inside my tailight!
I gotta bug inside my tail light!
Will this be hard to get out? I wonder if BMW will warrant this for lack of proper sealing. Any suggestions??? Last edited by smallseafishie; 06-06-2010 at 04:07 PM.. |

That bug has probably been in there since the car was in Germany.

That sucks dude. I had something similar myself. I got an LCD TV about a year ago, and it had a spider in it! Still alive too! He was just crawling around for a week or so before he finally died.
I'd definitely bring that into the dealer though. I don't see how they wouldn't replace that for you.

You can put a peice of rubber hose (thin hose) on your vacuum cleaner and snake the thin hose into the light bulb hole and suck the little bastard up. I had some debris in my lights on my mustang I just rebuilt and thats how I got the stuff out.

Bring it up with ya dealer though, they should def replace the tail light for you since they really aren't that expensive or hard to replace.

The taillights on the e90 are not airtight. You can take the bulb housings out without even removing the taillights.
