Im afraid me dealer was a bit sneaky this time around.
About 2 months ago I went to the dealer so they can replace my H7 headlight bulb. Came out fine, no problems. I noticed a couple weeks later that when I washed the car moisture was getting into the headlight.
I took it the other day and they told me that the housing that holds the H7 bulb in not attached anymore and that they cant put the H7 bulb. That i will need to purchase a whole new headlight, $398.00 Mind you Ive had my car for a year already and never head a problem with that bulb unitll it burned out, and now I hear this. Is the dealer accurate. I feel the dealer did something. |

Sounds pretty fishy.... did you take it anywhere else for the headlight bulb?

Tell them that they were the only ones that touched your headlights and that they are responsible for it!

If the dealer just put a bulb in it 2 months ago they obviously messed something up in the process. They cant make you pay for that.

Had a similar problem with my X5 where my headlights pointed down.
The dealer said that it couldn't be fixed and that I had to buy a new set for ~$3k . So, I got back home and got my screwdriver, a pair of pliers and a flashlight. I started by removing the small covers on top of the headlight units and play with the parts inside to see which is the defective part. About an hour later I was done and everything was back to normal. Try to work it out by your self and if you got no where try a specialized shop. Buying new headlights should be your last option. Hope this helps GL bro
