Dash/Steering wheel rattle buzzing sound? w/ video
I purchased my CPO 2014 328i M-Sport in November. This was a splurge; the most I've ever spent on a car, and coming from a 2008 Saab built in the height of GM's bean-counting era, I had much higher expectations from BMW in the build-quality department. I've been chasing down squeaks, creaks, and rattles but I have ONE that I cannot pinpoint. Hoping someone here has run into this one and can give some pointers before I go to the dealer where I know they'll just say they can't reproduce it.
It's a buzzing rattle that seems like it's coming from the driver side of the dash, possibly somewhere about where the steering column returns in to the dash. It happens on any and all types of road surfaces short of "newly-paved." Front AND rear seat passengers can hear it. It's loud and very annoying. I've turned the radio off and frantically pressed on every piece of plastic/trim/bezel and can't get it to stop or change. Any ideas?

I had the exact same noise, but it was coming from the shifter area. I brought it into the shop and they preformed: SIB 64 01 14. The noise disappeared for a couple of months, but later came back now at my driver window side. My car is currently back in the shop again to have this addressed. Really annoying issue
