Jack won't fit!
Hi,
I bought a floor jack along with jack pads to protect the jacking points. The pads a little bit thicker and they won't go underneath the car along with the jack. What's the trick? Are you guys using a low profile jack or slimmer jack pads? Need some help here |

I'm assuming that your car is lowered? If so, normally you would need a low profile jack. Or you can try driving over wooden planks to see if your car will clear over the jack

It's on stock suspension. Kinda bummed that I have to use wooden planks to raise car first -- was hoping not to disturb my neighbors with the cold start just to raise it over the planks

I wanted to install rear reflectors on the car, and didn't want to damage the jacking points. First time I was to jack the car up and I had no jack pads, so I started looking around the house for something I could use lol. I have a regular sized jack (not low profile) . How thick exactly are the jacking pads that you have?
