After months of patiently waiting, we are happy to say that we have the BMW M Performance LCI Shift Knob in stock! The knob was revealed as part of the updated BMW M Performance parts catalog during SEMA in 2016.

The knob has the characteristic BMW ///M Tricolor stitching on the shift boot, as well as having ///M tricolor stripes on the side of the knob. The combination of alcantara, in addition to the smooth and rough textured aluminum surfaces throughout provide superior feel when shifting between gears. The knob comes with the necessary wiring to retain the lighted shift pattern feature present on your factory shift knob.

This item is from BMW however it may be possible to have it custom made for the E9x. The lower plastic trim would need to be removed from the stock E9X boot and put onto this one.

We have been given an ETA of summer 2018 from BMW NA. Hopefully it will be sooner.

It only comes as one part from BMW.
