Taking tires off wheels

Hi all. I was wondering if taking a run flat tire off a wheel and putting it on another wheel can actually potentially damage the integrity of the tire? I've heard different opinions on this, though I was wondering if anyone has a firm answer on this... Thanks guys!

Not a matter of opinion.

If done by a certified RF dealer, it presents no problem.

(I could swear I just posted this same answer - more or less - somewhere else but I don´t recall where)

Oh, opinion meaning I've heard people say "No, there's no problem removing these RFT's", and "Oh, yeah, you'll probably damage the side wall of the RFT and also scratch the wheels, so you're better off just getting new tires with your new set of wheels".

I read somewhere about you saying you were going to write an article about this topic?
