Scheduling CBU cleaning getting scheduled - what else?

Hey guys

Have been combing over this forum. Getting ready to have CBU cleaning done. Currently at 87K miles and recently threw the P02CE code. Slightly rough idle at times but not misfiring. MY 2011.

Going to a trusted indy for CBU and to proactively replace the crankshaft dampener. Edit: fuel filter as well.

I'm in CA so I don't want to deal with SMOG and eliminating anything. What else would you have done if you approached this with an "open checkbook" as they say. Would like to keep this car for many years to come.

Thanks.

I'm in CA as well, I just did my CBU cleaning. I have the snow performance water meth system installed, I just disconnected the hoses in the engine bay and smogged my car last friday, no issues. I plan on doing a BPC stage 1 tune, that's about all we can do here in CA.

Consider replacing your vacuum lines and also check the red boost hose for leaks

Replace every wear item on schedule, or earlier. Brakes, filters, fluids. Transmission fluid and filter too.

I changed by harmonic balancer at 71K, did not want to risk it failing. Parts and labor (do the belts also) maybe $500-600.

Haven't seen any oil around the red boost hose from looking at it from above but will take a closer look once the lower panel is dropped. Vacuum lines interesting. Having new belts w/ the new crankshaft balancer pulley. Thanks guys keep 'em coming.

The crankshaft incremental wheel adaptation and injector zero-mass adaptations must be reset. If they are unaware....GL

Will review. Wasn't that more related to injector replacements? Thanks.

If you want to go crazy you can swap out the thermostat.
