Apologize if this doesn't apply to you geographically...but if it helps one fellow new M3 owner it's worth it. So I'm driving my newly Clear Bra'd M3 (just installed yesterday by Premier) to work this morning only to run into road repair on PCH in Malibu. You know, the kind where they grind up the asphalt and there's bits of road flying all about. I just about passed out...f**kn shocking. I slowed to about 10mph so I went through it slow and stayed a safe distance from the car in front of me...got through it seemingly okay. I believe this is the start of a long repaving project on PCH. Consider yourself forewarned...STAY AWAY from southbound PCH between Malibu and Topanga Canyon. They'll probably be doing northbound soon...but stay away anyhow as there are most likely road bits all over from the southbound project. Please update if you travel this route in a car other than your M. I'll do the same.

Thanks for posting that! I live in Pacific Palisades and travel to Malibu often. I am taking delivery this week and am glad I read your post so that I can avoid PCH. I will post any updates (in regards to PCH road conditions) to this thread. In regards to the Clear Bra, where did you have it installed, and how much did you pay? Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Today I was a carpool passenger on PCH through Malibu. Now it's both the north and southbound lanes and they chewed up more of the road to the south. that seems the direction they are headed. it's brutal...stay far away.

PCH is totally jacked between Malibu and Topanga...both directions. Seems this project will be going on for weeks. A coworker who takes this route to work has broken a fog light and chipped his windshield as a result of the debris on the road. Stay away.

Looks like they are starting a new project on PCH and Sunset Blvd (Malibu/Pacific Palisades border). The road is completely torn up with little rocks everywhere. It's less than 50 yards worth of road but it looks to be the beginning of something big. I would steer clear.

it's starting to clear up today. They seem to be making great progress in such a short amount of time. Still drive through carefully though.

Update:

PCH (southbound & northbound) is now chopped up between Temescal Canyon and close to California Incline. It's really bad... AVOID at all costs!
