Question for Pros.
Ok, I have had enough. I have been cleaning various cars for almost 40 years. There has to be an EASY way to get BUGs off my paint! I spent two hours washing, scrubbing and waxing my front bumper and still have bug guts on the paint. Is there yet a quick, but not paint damaging, product on the market???
Does Goo Gone take of wax too? Once I used, just once, one of the synthetic waxes as a possible solution, but the bugs got stuck in that stuff too. I am breaking out the buffer......dam I wish I had a lift. Mike

Pretty much paint correction, IPA wipe down then apply the coating and buff off.
My front end is wrapped with PPF with Cquartz on top, I just go to the coin wash and blast them off before I wash the car, bugs come off easy with just one pass. |

Tried the Turtle Wax bug remover today. Helped a little I guess.

It sounds crazy but the best thing I've found for removing bugs is fabric softener sheets. Fill a spray bottle up with water and stick a dryer sheet inside the bottle. After washing the car, spray the bug remains with the mix and wipe off with a microfiber towel.
Or you can use the dryer sheet itself. Just make sure it's wet. |
