Hybrid turbos fitted, what is the correct switch over Valve actuator arm thread?

I have just had hybrid turbos and the R090 pump fitted last week

Since then I'm getting lag low down.

I've been told the main actuator needs adjusting.

Does anyone know at what position that it needs to be so it can be done right first time.

It's the actuator for the switch over between both turbos.

Cheers

Alex

Everyone talks about it being at 17 threads off the end of the nut... I think mine is at 14 and I set that by starting up the car....it will retract the arm as soon as it builds up enough vacuum....then set the nuts for as far as the flap will go.... you will be at the top side of the actuator and the flap will be completely closed....

But most will just tell you to set at 17 The thought is...a little preloading may help

I have done some research and I believe 23 threads is the best for hybrid turbos

I have adjusted to 23 and it has made a big difference.

Could any of the mappers state side confirm this.

Cheers

I think I set it to 18 threads for the last Stage 4 tune we did. Generally "stock" is what we want it set at. I put medium thread lock on the top nut before loosening the actuator on each car.

Thanks,

I will put it back to 18, if that's were it is meant to be.

I heard about it being 23 threads on an old post on here.

Cheers
