I know these are 70w RMS @ 4ohm power handling.
When setting amp gains, what wattage are people actually throwing at them though? the full 70w rms or less? (These will be bandpassed from 70hz to 200hz)

Hi,
I'm using these in a E91 and a set in a E87 with good results together with Alpine or Match amplifiers. don't worry too much about the wattage, since the area you will use them in is not too problematic unless you do much equalizing. :-) ///Chris |

I set the amp gain to 70w rms max ouptut in line with their rated power...they handle it perfectly (bandpassed between 70 and 200hz) although i dialled it back a bit as they were too overpowering the vocals in the components

I have pushed a solid 150w rms to them and they laughed at it (30-200hz) don't try that with the earthquake SWS..
