Protecting/Cleaning Polished lips?
Whats goin on,
My wheels will be here monday and i want to drop a coat of somethign on the wheels that will slow down the accumulation of brake dust. Whats the best stuff that i can pick up at a local store? Wheel wax maybe? Whats the best stuff to remove the dirt and dust without scratchin or hazing up the lips? FYI i have polished lips with brushed centers Thanks guys |

Definitely Wheel Wax. It's easy to polish 'em up before the wheels are mounted, and it will really repel the brake dust. I would suggest you put two coats on the front wheels due to the heavier brake dust production.

wheel wax to protect the centers, and mothers metal polish for the lip ONLY. the metal polish is micro abrasive, so it might damage the finish on the centers in time.
