AEM water meth injection controller issue

Good morning
Just wondered if anyone has had any issues with their AEM water meth injection kits.
I have been running mine without issues for 8 months and then one day towards the end of a 40 min journey the pump turned on to full and emptied the tank in to the engine.
Thankfully there was not much fluid left but since then the pump has been turning off and on sparadically for a day, and now the pump will only turn on with the test button.
I suspect the controller MAP sensor has become faulty, has anyone had a same or similar issue?
Thanks in advance,

from what I have read online that controller is a big issue... I am not even considering that one..

the problem you just described is one of the issues people complain about.

Hello! Thanks for the mail, I thought I did a bit of research before buying this kit and nothing jumped out at me, hopefully the returns and replacement process won't be too drawn out, just a shame as it is all very fully hard wired in to the depths of my car so I don't really want to change brands.
If the next unit fails within a year again I am sure I will be asking the question as to what controller do people recommend as more reliabile a replacement.

This happened to me twice! Aem knows about the problem as well. Never again!!! I went with the Snow MPG MAX and it has been flawless.

I'm looking for a potential kit too, and seen a few cases like this for AEM, not loads mind.... they sent the controller off to AEM and got replaced/fixed I believe, apparently they're small print says they hold no responsibility for engine damage though .....

I can't say with 100% certainty say they are related, but know of two busted motor cases where the customer was also running an AEM meth controller. One of the was recently parting out their car on this forum...screen name started with STI___, IIRC

No thanks
