So, after seeing all the videos, and hearing the rave reviews on here I'm considering going for the MPPSK, subject to insurance and pcp clearance.

Called in to Stratstone in Chesterfield today and I definitely won't be getting it there, took the parts manager 45 minutes to identify the kit on the system then couldn't get anywhere near the prices being talked about on here.

Couple of questions to ask on here:

1. Which dealers have people used, any up north and do you mind sharing what you paid?

2. Is there anyone in South Yorks or Notts/Derbyshire who has one fitted that would be prepared to meet and give me a real life listen? (Or does anyone know a dealer with one fitted onto a used/demo car?)

Bought vehicle in Sept 2016 and the MPPSK was fitted in feb 2017 at Lloyds BMW Blackpool
I was the first to have this fitted by them and everything went okay...well pleased. The better pricing appears to be in the South..... expect northern dealers to offer 15 to 20% discount depending on other work you might want them to do.

Went back in May to have the m performance LSD fitted...which I would argue this car needs now with the extra power .

Thanks, what is the base price that the 15-20% discount applies to? Can't find the right kit on BMW's website and the dealer today just flashed a piece of paper with parts costs in front of me with no fitting price added.

Southern dealers are still an option, travel with work quite a lot. I seem to remember reading that some had used Midlands dealers, but I can't find the posts. Nottingham and Warwick rings a bell?

I had my MPPSK fitted yesterday.

I took the family out today and all I can say is the rave reviews are right. In Comfort you can feel the extra bit of urgency but it's Sport where the car comes alive. The extra oomph is addictive and when combined with the noise it's a proper hoot

The real test for me though would be Mrs B's reaction. Fortunately she thought the noise in Comfort wasn't obtrusive but added an extra bit of growl when prodded. Sport mode was also a success.

I had quotes of £1740 from Warwick and £1750 from Reading. In the end I had it done in Bristol. A bit more but when the fuel and extra time was thrown into it, it was enough to stay local. It took 5 hours to get it done but I certainly recouped a bit more of the difference from the refreshments.

I actually wish I'd got it fitted sooner.

In Dec 2016 the list price for the MPPSK was £2650 inc of vat plus tailpipe trims@ £207 a piece for the carbon ones plus fitting.I was told BMW allowed the dealers 2half hours even although the flash tune could take about 5/6 hrs ( I was there from 8am till 4pm) and then ofcourse the exhaust had to be done

I paid dare I say just under £2800

Hi mate,

I am in Nottingham and phoning the locals the best that i could get was:
with carbon tips

1. Stratstone Derby 2000 incl VAT/fitting
2. Sytner Nottingham 1900 incl VAT/fitting

I could have got it cheaper down south Coopers etc as mentioned, but Sytner is only 10 mins away, whereas Coopers is over a four hour return journey away.

I'm thinking about getting MPPSK (thank you, you stupid forum!) but never had a chance to hear how it sounds live.

I live north Nottingham, 10mins from junction 27. Would be happy to take you out for a drive.

Ravenshead is only 15min up the M1 from J25, but can only make Fri night/Sat anytime, work away. No probs if not.

Oh god please stop... thanks to reading this forum so far I've fitted the entire m performance body kit and added a bunch of options to a car I don't have yet!

I'm just about resisting the 405M 20"s and the MPPSK but a group buy that resulted in a decent reduction would probably be the nail in the coffin for me and my wallet.

To think I got here googling for pictures of Snapper Rocks Blue F33s to compare to EB...
