Thinking about placing an order for an M2 LCI.

The wait is 18 months but I have read that some people get a build slot much quicker.

What are the odds in that happening? Or am I almost certainly going to need to wait 18 months?

While threads speculating in the M2 section. Anything I particular you're after on the LCI? If not you could save about £5k and get a non LCI pre ref now. (Eg https://www.halliwelljones.co.uk/bmw...cbpf=.m-models just my local dealers offers right now, likely better out there locally for you)

How you getting with with the M2 Chris? I know you always loved your M235i, is the M2 a lot better?

Spot on for me dopper99 thank you. I guess you could say I really knew exactly what I was getting myself into this time. I did ponder over the 6MT again vs DCT but for my work miles and the pedal offset, made the right choice this time, little bit of 'head' in the largely 'heart' decision.

Size, power, spec, colour all great. Not pushed on much as am away in Spain just now and had running in service the day before we went.

Planning on quite a bit of MPerf kit including the MPE courtesy of the excellent guys at Cotswold (Sep 9th).
