Inchcape Extended Warranty

Popped into finalise the paperwork on Saturday and was flogged (turned down) the usual extras, one which did interest me however was the 4th year warranty which is an Inchcape dealership specific warranty.

Covers repairs up to the value of the invoice price of the car
NO mileage restriction
No Excess
covers LED lights, DPF etc
(forgot to collect the brochure before I left for full exclusions)

It was £599 whilst that isn't "Cheap" its seems better value for money than the BMW offering at year 3 which as my car will be over 60k appears to be a lot of wonga from what I have read on here.

Oh and if I sell or cancel the policy before it starts I get a full refund?

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience of a dealer specific warranty before I get hoodwinked into a duff offer?

Many thanks

there is always some dirt on these companies coupled with people buying into not fully understanding T&Cs.

So far speaking to them twice they had no problem with me a. taking car for checks with fuel cup not properly closing and honestly stating that it may be or not covered b. were happy to pay the annual 1 hour inspection maintenance c. just about to book for issue with whining noise from the engine bay

Also good indication is asking garages on their experience, i called BMS Surrey bmw specialists and asked if they were ok to work with 3rd party warranty and alarmingly they said depends who it is, soon as i said RAC they said no problem

Well got the booklet and its vague at best - no confidence there, discover its underwritten by Car Care Plan - google is full of terrible reviews, so ill pocket the cash and worry about it at 3 years old.
