I am looking for map updates for my F30 435i early year 14 and was on ebay and noticed this advert

You can generate a FSC code for free, if you have a coding cable.

I'm going through a similar experience. Downloading the maps via torrent isn't an issue but the FSC code will be and I don't have a coding cable. Not to mention I'm not very technically savvy with these things and I'm to afraid of balls'ing up (for lack of a better term).

I don't mind paying someone for the FSC so I have contacted the individual although I will be needing 2 codes for 2 F31's (62 plate and 13 plate).

You get 2 years of updates and no hassle at all to do it!

BMW told me that 2015+ cars get 2 free updates or did you already use them up?

The ones on Ebay have worked for me, the last one I got was a lifetime code.

vorph can also do these codes, I believe a little cheaper than that Ebay listing. He checked mine for me while doing something else & got the same lifetime code I had been given.

No idea on that to be honest. First I've heard of it.
