Hey , i tried to listen some music from my mobile phone and connected the wire to my mobile andthen to the USB of my bmw e90 ...and when i press on USB from the radio section it keeps tellign me INSERT , after that i tried to use a pendrive and also it keeps telling me INSERT , and solutions ?

What audio system do you have in your car?

I'm pretty sure you can't plug your phone into there and listen to music. It needs to be a flash drive with music files loaded onto it.

it is not always should be like flash drive because androind phones support mtp profile
but it is not selected by default, you need to change usb emulation settings on phone after connection to car
as to pendrive it is should formatted using fat32 or fat16 filesystem, not ntfs or exfat
if this will not help then you may be have damaged connector in usb/aux socket
