About 20k for rears, 50k+ for fronts, Michelin PSS.

I just replaced my fronts, looking at the date codes on the tyres (Continental) I think one was original. Just past 45k miles so teaston's figures look realistic.

Although I'm on 18s

I'm running MPSS all round on 19".

35K so far on the fronts; typically 20K on rears. That includes 1 or 2 track evenings per year.

My original Bridgestone RFTs on 19" did about 18k on the rears, 35k on the fronts. I changed them at about 3mm. I changed all 4 at 35k (so the second set of rears did 17k) just for convenience. Car is 325d sDrive touring.

23k from new on the rears still plenty of tread left! Eagle f1 run flats. 80 percent of my time is spent on motorways.

Out of interest do non run flats yield the same mileage (same brand/model) ?

I have 19 rfts (Goodyear F1's). My current mileage is approx 27500 and I have approx 3.5mm on rears and 5.5mm on fronts. Will change rears before winter when I'll probably be on approx 33k. Seem to wear much better than Bridgestones on previous cars.

27K on my factory Bridgestones, the outer edges of the fronts were shot and the inner rears were shot.

Garage List
My Pirelli runflats (255/35/19) have given me 35k on the rears and are now due to be changed.

Following a puncture I replaced all the run-flats on mine with a set of conventional Goodyear AS2's. That was at roughly 22k miles and the car has now covered 44k; checked the tyres last weekend and still the best part of 6mm left all round which I reckon is pretty good!

Can only assume that's a benefit of X-Drive as I ran the same tyres on my E92 335i and never had more than 20k from a set of rears!

Strange, the rears on my 335dx last exactly as long as they did on my 330ds!

Replaced Bridgestone RF with Continental Sport 6 and the rears need replacing after 6k miles. Mostly driven around town by my wife - the days of burnouts are long gone. So I'm not convinced they suit the F30.

Got Bridgestone RFT on the 440 and actually measured them today.

At 13k miles I've got 7m left on the fronts and 5.5mm left on the rears.

Assuming they were 8mm new and I change them at 2mm I should get 26k out of the rears and 78k out of the fronts

When I moved away from run-flats I considered the Continentals but a lot of the reviews I read suggested that, while the performance when new was good, their wear rate was poor. 6k miles from a set of rears would tend to confirm that although in fairness my other half has Contis on her A1 and the wear on those hasn't been bad (around 20k from a set of fronts).

The fronts have some life left in them but the rears and basically on the limiter now. I think different rubber will perform differently on various makes or car. Will try MPSS next, though between the squealing brakes, clunking noises, and general lack of refinement, I can see myself chopping it in sooner rather than later.

Mine's just been handed back at 24,500. Rears had 3 mm and Front N/S 3.5. Front O/S barely legal with 2.5mm and uneven wear. That's the one replaced at under 300 miles by Quickfit???? I have heard OEM tyres tend to last longer but don't know why.
