BMW Finance?
Not used them before and considering buying an i3 LCI which is out in November. Apparently cars ordered this week will be available Dec/Jan time and the pre-lci car is no longer available to order.
On the website BMW is offering 1.3% apr on PCP and HP. What happens if I order a car this week? Does this finance deal and dealer contribution of £1900 get locked into the contract pre-delivery, when this is 3 months away. Any advice would be really helpful... |

Phone your dealer and ask, however finance deals typically stand for vehicles ordered in quarter, delivered by the end of the following quarter.

I've used them. Placed my order end of May last year and got delivery start of September on the new plate. It was actually delivered to the dealer mid August but I waited. When I ordered, that's when we agreed the finance terms, apr etc so it wasn't based on the quarter it was delivered. If the current deal stands at 1.9% and you order now, that's what you would be paying and if they have stopped producing the pre-lci, you will most likely then have to wait for the lci then but as above, double check with the dealer to make sure you'd be getting the lci.

I think the answer was staring me in the face all the time. The £1900 contributions applies to all cars ordered by the end of this month and delivered by 31st Dec. So it seems it will apply to the LCI.. which is available in Nov. It was all in the finance terms and conditions.

Sounds like you've got it sorted, but yes, generally, BMW honour the terms agreed when you order. The "delivered by" deadline means you must be able to take delivery by that date. If manufacture is delayed for any reason, and you agree to later delivery (say mid-Jan), the deal will still hold.
