DTUK CRD3+ Discount code for forum members

Hi All,

I've been talking to Andrew from dtuk and he has set up a discount code for forum members bringing the 3 channel box down to £369 including postage.

Seems like there is increasing interest in the box since the Surrey rolling road day.

I'm going to be getting one ordered up tonight.

The code is BMWF30 and his number is 07977 466007 he is happy to answe any questions.

It's a good price. Thanks for sorting. How difficult is it to fit. I know the 2 channel are not that difficult but was told that one of the 3 sensors was a right PITA on a x35d engine. I hope that I am wrong.

It's a bit fiddly but not too difficult if you remain patient and take your time, the boost and rpm sensor connectors are tight and there is a knack to removing them but when you know what to do it's simple.

Andrew put a clip on YouTube showing how to remove the boost plug. Just search DTUK BMW boost connector.

As I have said take your time and make sure you are happy with the instructions before you start.

Just to say that if anyone is considering one of these...

I had one of their boxes on my previous C 350d Merc and it was excellent ran it for around 30K miles and no issues whatsoever. Takes a bit of time to sort which map suits your driving style but that is all part of the fun.

Have been using the DTUK 3-Channel box for over a year now, no issues whatsoever and the service from DTUK is always very good. I originally had the box on my F20 then sent it back to DTUK to have it re-flashed for my F30. Box was returned a couple of days later with a brand new wiring loom to suit my F30 for around £90. performance gain is certainly noticeable.

Follow the instructions carefully I located mine on the front right but its wherever you want.

To undo the boost and rpm sensor connectors look on YouTube for the DTUK clip

Search DTUK BMW boost connector

Will do, what car do you have?

The sensors are fairly easy to locate they are all close to the common rail.

The notes are really clear I'm just not very good when it comes to cars/engines!

Once you locate the connections it was a breeze, I mounted mine on the right hand side just behind the headlight.

If in any doubt give Andrew or Simon a call very helpful guys and happy to answer as many stupid questions as you can throw at them!

Yeah no worries if the 320 block is layed out the same as the 430 the sensors are at the bottom of the common rail and 2 at the top to the left and right.

I fitted a TDI 3 channel last week. I encountered 2 issue which were not in the instructions.
1. Access to the RPM sensor - I had to call an engineer from TDI, who said the best way is to loosen off the air intake pipe. This then allows you to peel back all of the foam sheet and easily get to the connector.
2. Removing the boost sensor connector. Access is Just OK. However when you move back the white clip, you would expect the connector to pull out. It does not. You need to get a small screwdriver and insert it under the white clip to push down a black tab, allowing it to move past the white clip. It defeats the object of the white clip really.
