2018 X3 Rim Bolt Pattern

I'm going to be on the hunt for new rims for the incoming X3 winters and I would just like to ask if there would be any way that we could get confirmation for the new rim specs.

Would 5x112 and 35mm offset for 19 inchers be a safe bet?

It should be very safe if you don't lower down the car.
Mine X1 F48 with KW V3 pretty low and run with 19" 8.5J ET32 wheels. Sometimes scratch rear arch, but its OK.

You should go 20"+, which is much fit on the G01.

19" will be fine as that is the stock size for the M40i, which has larger brake calipers. Your post didn't say whether you're fitting an 3.0 or an M40i. But the 3.0 with MSport may have the same brakes, so you should avoid 18" as some barrels may be too tight for the brake set up.

5x112 is the correct bolt pattern.

I don't know the stock offset, but 32-35mm seems about right. You could buy what you want and test fit them to make sure they clear the brakes and suspension. If they rub, then you would have to buy spacers.

If you were to change the tire size so that you had a larger overall tire diameter than stock, then you may run into rubbing in the wheel housing. However, TireRack and other places have simple calculators to ensure that you are with 1-2% of stock diameter. This will ensure that your wheels won't rub and also keep your speedo closer to stock accuracy.

May be you have wheel hub diameter? The old one on F25 was 72.6 mm.

Hello Rudy, do you have pics from your car (sideview) with the 688 rims? I hoped that their design make them look bigger than they are

And what suspension setup do you have and hows the ride?

Not a sport suspension - regular one. Drives smoothly and noiselessly. I did own F25 I and G01 is on more higher level.
Attached mine Phitonicblau with 688/18".
Here you can find pics of white G01 with 688 onboard - https://www.drive2.ru/r/bmw/489107028451524708/

Thank you very much - looks quite good - congrats to your car.

Does your setup with the 18" feel good and "planted" also in faster corners?

Have fun!

Hehe I was expecting to hear that it is that unsporty .
Do you have Runflat? Should help on cornering agility a little bit...
Currently I hope that 18" Runflat with M suspension (but no damper control) will be a good comfort/sportyness compromise...

Will test native summer Runflat set by early spring someday. Winter set above is on the regular tyres.

Yea and almost every other Bmw since they did 4x100.

I assume the person that posted read through the thread and was asking about the g01. Otherwise, why post in this subforum.

That 1010 tires website is probably scraping wrong model information.
