Beware ash on your car
My car is not kept outside, but there are windows nearby. I'm sure some ash got on it even though I can't really see any. For those who don't want to read the article:
Ash + water (think moisture in the evening or morning) sitting on your paint will cause corrosion. Maybe this is just a scare tactic to get people ordering car wash. Who knows. Not taking chances tho. http://www.thecarconnection.com/news...eat-your-paint |

I park close to an entrance in a underground parking garage in SF. I was surprised to see what looks to be some light ash all over my car from the ongoing Napa and Sonoma wild fires. You can smell the smoke and been hazy all day.
Thx for the post...going to wipe off any ash residue with a dry microfiber cloth and will do a waterless wash over my PPF and coating. |
